Otters are one of the best adapted animals for the cold winter Canadian climate. With up to 1 million hair follicles per square inch and a good layer of fat, this adorable creature can survive the frigid winter waters. They are the first original ‘sledders’ and can glide with their belly on the ice for 6 meter or more. This little fellow is on the hunt to fatten up for the long winter ahead.
